How to Send FormCraft Submissions to DirectIQ

DirectIQ is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want FormCraft submissions in DirectIQ, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting FormCraft to email marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A DirectIQ account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect DirectIQ to AFI

1. Log in to your DirectIQ account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key and Secret.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → DirectIQ.
4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to DirectIQ.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select DirectIQ as the destination

Choose DirectIQ from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to DirectIQ.

4. Map fields

Match each DirectIQ field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check DirectIQ to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
