How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Close CRM

Close CRM is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every FormCraft submission should flow into Close CRM without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Close CRM account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Close CRM to AFI

1. Log in to your Close CRM account.
2. Go to Settings → API Keys and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Close CRM.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Close CRM.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Close CRM as the destination

Choose Close CRM from the platform dropdown and pick Create Lead. This creates a lead in Close CRM.

4. Map fields

Match each Close CRM field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Close CRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
