How to Send Quill Forms Data to Emailit
Emailit is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Getting Quill Forms submission into Emailit does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to email marketing. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Quill Forms installed and configured.
- A Emailit account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Emailit to AFI
- Log in to your Emailit account.
- Copy your API Key from settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Emailit.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Quill Forms to Emailit.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Quill Forms as the form provider. AFI fires when a conversational form is completed, giving you access to respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers.
3. Select Emailit as the destination
Choose Emailit from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Emailit.
4. Map fields
Match each Emailit field on the left to the corresponding Quill Forms field on the right. Common mappings include respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Quill Forms. Check Emailit to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Emailit with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Quill Forms events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a conversational form is completed. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
