Mailerlite is a platform platform. Dokan handles a vendor registers or a product is submitted on your WordPress site. Mailerlite is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Dokan to platform, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Dokan installed and configured.
  • A Mailerlite account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Mailerlite to AFI

Mailerlite uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Mailerlite, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Mailerlite.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.

3. Select Mailerlite as the destination

Choose Mailerlite from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Mailerlite.

4. Map fields

Match each Mailerlite field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Mailerlite to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Mailerlite with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Dokan events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
