Acuity Scheduling is a appointment scheduling platform. Every Dokan vendor record should flow into Acuity Scheduling automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers vendor data straight from WordPress to Acuity Scheduling. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Dokan installed and configured.
  • A Acuity Scheduling account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Acuity Scheduling to AFI

  1. Log in to your Acuity Scheduling account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and copy your User ID and API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Acuity Scheduling.
  4. Enter your User ID and API Key, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Acuity Scheduling.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.

3. Select Acuity Scheduling as the destination

Choose Acuity Scheduling from the platform dropdown and pick Create Appointment. This creates an appointment in Acuity Scheduling.

4. Map fields

Match each Acuity Scheduling field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Acuity Scheduling to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, phone, and date to Acuity Scheduling with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Dokan events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
