ActiveCampaign is a CRM and email marketing that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. If you want Dokan vendor synced to ActiveCampaign, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Dokan to CRM and email marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Dokan installed and configured.
  • A ActiveCampaign account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect ActiveCampaign to AFI

  1. Log in to your Active Campaign account.
  2. Go to Settings → Developer and copy your API URL and Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → ActiveCampaign.
  4. Enter the API URL and Key, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to ActiveCampaign.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.

3. Select ActiveCampaign as the destination

Choose ActiveCampaign from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates or updates a contact in Active Campaign.

4. Map fields

Match each ActiveCampaign field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check ActiveCampaign to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email, first name, and last name to ActiveCampaign with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and list assignment. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Dokan events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
