How to Send Ultimate Member Data to SlickText

SlickText is a SMS marketing platform. Every Ultimate Member registration record should flow into SlickText automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

Connect SlickText to AFI

1. Log in to your SlickText account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SlickText.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to SlickText.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select SlickText as the destination

Choose SlickText from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This opts in a contact to a SlickText textword list.

4. Map fields

Match each SlickText field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check SlickText to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
