How to Send Ultimate Member Data to Google Drive

Google Drive is a file storage platform. Every Ultimate Member registration record should flow into Google Drive automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Connect Google Drive to AFI

Google Drive uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Google Drive, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Google Drive.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Google Drive as the destination

Choose Google Drive from the platform dropdown and pick Upload File. This uploads a file to Google Drive.

4. Map fields

Match each Google Drive field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Google Drive to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
