How to Send Ultimate Member Data to ClickUp
ClickUp is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Here is how to pipe Ultimate Member registration straight into ClickUp using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to project management. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Ultimate Member installed and configured.
- A ClickUp account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect ClickUp to AFI
- Log in to your ClickUp account.
- Go to Settings → Apps → API and copy your API Token.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → ClickUp.
- Paste the Token and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to ClickUp.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.
3. Select ClickUp as the destination
Choose ClickUp from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in ClickUp.
4. Map fields
Match each ClickUp field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check ClickUp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name and description to ClickUp with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and list selection. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Ultimate Member events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
