How to Send Ultimate Member Data to beehiiv

Connect beehiiv to AFI

1. Log in to your beehiiv account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → beehiiv.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to beehiiv.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select beehiiv as the destination

Choose beehiiv from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to beehiiv.

4. Map fields

Match each beehiiv field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check beehiiv to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
