Attio is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Ultimate Member manages a user registers or updates their profile, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Attio.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-registration fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Ultimate Member installed and configured.
  • A Attio account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Attio to AFI

Attio uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Attio, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Attio.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Attio as the destination

Choose Attio from the platform dropdown and pick Create Record. This creates a record in Attio.

4. Map fields

Match each Attio field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Attio to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email and name to Attio with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Ultimate Member events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
