How to Send Bookly Data to Zendesk

Zendesk is a helpdesk platform. Bookly manages an appointment is booked, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zendesk.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.

Connect Zendesk to AFI

Zendesk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zendesk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Zendesk.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.

3. Select Zendesk as the destination

Choose Zendesk from the platform dropdown and pick Create Ticket. This creates a ticket in Zendesk.

4. Map fields

Match each Zendesk field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Zendesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
