Woodpecker is a platform platform. Here is how to pipe Bookly appointment straight into Woodpecker using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to platform. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.
  • A Woodpecker account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Woodpecker to AFI

Woodpecker uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Woodpecker, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Woodpecker.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.

3. Select Woodpecker as the destination

Choose Woodpecker from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Woodpecker.

4. Map fields

Match each Woodpecker field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Woodpecker to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Woodpecker with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Bookly events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an appointment is booked. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
