How to Send Bookly Data to Selzy
Selzy is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every Bookly appointment record should flow into Selzy automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers appointment data straight from WordPress to Selzy. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.
- A Selzy account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Selzy to AFI
Selzy uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Selzy, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Selzy.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.
3. Select Selzy as the destination
Choose Selzy from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Selzy.
4. Map fields
Match each Selzy field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Selzy to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Selzy with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bookly events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an appointment is booked. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
