How to Send Bookly Data to Liondesk
Liondesk is a platform platform. Getting Bookly appointment into Liondesk does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
The direct approach
AFI delivers appointment data straight from WordPress to Liondesk. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.
- A Liondesk account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Liondesk to AFI
Liondesk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Liondesk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Liondesk.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.
3. Select Liondesk as the destination
Choose Liondesk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Liondesk.
4. Map fields
Match each Liondesk field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Liondesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name and email to Liondesk with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bookly events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
