How to Send Bookly Data to BombBomb
BombBomb is a video email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every Bookly appointment record should flow into BombBomb automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers appointment data straight from WordPress to BombBomb. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.
- A BombBomb account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect BombBomb to AFI
- Log in to your BombBomb account.
- Go to Profile → Integrations → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → BombBomb.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to BombBomb.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.
3. Select BombBomb as the destination
Choose BombBomb from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to a BombBomb list.
4. Map fields
Match each BombBomb field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check BombBomb to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to BombBomb with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bookly events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an appointment is booked. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
