How to Send Bookly Data to Awesome Support
Awesome Support is a helpdesk platform. If you want Bookly appointment synced to Awesome Support, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-appointment fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.
- A Awesome Support account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Awesome Support to AFI
Awesome Support uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Awesome Support, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Awesome Support.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.
3. Select Awesome Support as the destination
Choose Awesome Support from the platform dropdown and pick Create Ticket. This creates a support ticket in Awesome Support.
4. Map fields
Match each Awesome Support field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Awesome Support to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps subject, content, and email to Awesome Support with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bookly events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an appointment is booked. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
