Salesloft is a sales engagement platform. Every The Events Calendar event record should flow into Salesloft automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to sales engagement. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with The Events Calendar installed and configured.
  • A Salesloft account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Salesloft to AFI

  1. Log in to your Salesloft account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and generate an API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Salesloft.
  4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it The Events Calendar to Salesloft.

2. Pick your trigger

Select The Events Calendar as the form provider. AFI fires when an event RSVP or ticket order is submitted, giving you access to attendee name, email, event title, event date, ticket type, and order total.

3. Select Salesloft as the destination

Choose Salesloft from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates a person in Salesloft.

4. Map fields

Match each Salesloft field on the left to the corresponding The Events Calendar field on the right. Common mappings include attendee name, email, event title, event date, ticket type, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in The Events Calendar. Check Salesloft to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Salesloft with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and cadence assignment. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which The Events Calendar events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an event RSVP or ticket order is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
