How to Send The Events Calendar Data to Recruitee

Recruitee is a recruiting platform. Every The Events Calendar event record should flow into Recruitee automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Connect Recruitee to AFI

Recruitee uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Recruitee, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it The Events Calendar to Recruitee.

2. Pick your trigger

Select The Events Calendar as the form provider. AFI fires when an event RSVP or ticket order is submitted, giving you access to attendee name, email, event title, event date, ticket type, and order total.

3. Select Recruitee as the destination

Choose Recruitee from the platform dropdown and pick Add Candidate. This adds a candidate in Recruitee.

4. Map fields

Match each Recruitee field on the left to the corresponding The Events Calendar field on the right. Common mappings include attendee name, email, event title, event date, ticket type, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in The Events Calendar. Check Recruitee to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
