How to Send Paid Memberships Pro Data to Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every Paid Memberships Pro membership record should flow into Zoho CRM automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers membership data straight from WordPress to Zoho CRM. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Paid Memberships Pro installed and configured.
- A Zoho CRM account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Zoho CRM to AFI
Zoho CRM uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho CRM, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Paid Memberships Pro to Zoho CRM.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Paid Memberships Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID.
3. Select Zoho CRM as the destination
Choose Zoho CRM from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Zoho CRM.
4. Map fields
Match each Zoho CRM field on the left to the corresponding Paid Memberships Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Paid Memberships Pro. Check Zoho CRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Zoho CRM with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and lead assignment. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Paid Memberships Pro events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
