How to Send Paid Memberships Pro Data to Encharge
Encharge is a marketing automation platform. Here is how to pipe Paid Memberships Pro membership straight into Encharge using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to marketing automation. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Paid Memberships Pro installed and configured.
- A Encharge account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Encharge to AFI
- Log in to your Encharge account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Encharge.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Paid Memberships Pro to Encharge.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Paid Memberships Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID.
3. Select Encharge as the destination
Choose Encharge from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates or updates a person in Encharge.
4. Map fields
Match each Encharge field on the left to the corresponding Paid Memberships Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Paid Memberships Pro. Check Encharge to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Encharge with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Paid Memberships Pro events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
