How to Send Paid Memberships Pro Data to Dynamics 365 Marketing
Dynamics 365 Marketing is a marketing automation platform. If you want Paid Memberships Pro membership synced to Dynamics 365 Marketing, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-membership fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Paid Memberships Pro installed and configured.
- A Dynamics 365 Marketing account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Dynamics 365 Marketing to AFI
Dynamics 365 Marketing uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365 Marketing, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Paid Memberships Pro to Dynamics 365 Marketing.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Paid Memberships Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID.
3. Select Dynamics 365 Marketing as the destination
Choose Dynamics 365 Marketing from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Dynamics 365 Marketing.
4. Map fields
Match each Dynamics 365 Marketing field on the left to the corresponding Paid Memberships Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Paid Memberships Pro. Check Dynamics 365 Marketing to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Dynamics 365 Marketing with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
