How to Send ARForms Data to Practice Better
Practice Better is a health coaching platform. Getting ARForms submission into Practice Better does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
The direct approach
AFI delivers submission data straight from WordPress to Practice Better. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with ARForms installed and configured.
- A Practice Better account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Practice Better to AFI
Practice Better uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Practice Better, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it ARForms to Practice Better.
2. Pick your trigger
Select ARForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.
3. Select Practice Better as the destination
Choose Practice Better from the platform dropdown and pick Add Client. This creates a client in Practice Better.
4. Map fields
Match each Practice Better field on the left to the corresponding ARForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in ARForms. Check Practice Better to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Practice Better with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which ARForms events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a form is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
