Groundhagg is a platform platform. If you want Funnel Builder submission synced to Groundhagg, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Funnel Builder to platform, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Funnel Builder installed and configured.
  • A Groundhagg account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Groundhagg to AFI

Groundhagg uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Groundhagg, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Funnel Builder to Groundhagg.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Funnel Builder as the form provider. AFI fires when a visitor submits a form or completes a step in a funnel, giving you access to visitor name, email, phone, funnel step, and custom field values.

3. Select Groundhagg as the destination

Choose Groundhagg from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Groundhagg.

4. Map fields

Match each Groundhagg field on the left to the corresponding Funnel Builder field on the right. Common mappings include visitor name, email, phone, funnel step, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Funnel Builder. Check Groundhagg to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Groundhagg with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Funnel Builder events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a visitor submits a form or completes a step in a funnel. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
