Zoho Marketing Automation is a marketing automation platform. If you want Email Subscribers subscriber synced to Zoho Marketing Automation, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-subscriber fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Email Subscribers installed and configured.
  • A Zoho Marketing Automation account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Zoho Marketing Automation to AFI

Zoho Marketing Automation uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Marketing Automation, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Email Subscribers to Zoho Marketing Automation.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Email Subscribers as the form provider. AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription, giving you access to subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status.

3. Select Zoho Marketing Automation as the destination

Choose Zoho Marketing Automation from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Zoho Marketing Automation.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Marketing Automation field on the left to the corresponding Email Subscribers field on the right. Common mappings include subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Email Subscribers. Check Zoho Marketing Automation to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email and name to Zoho Marketing Automation with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Email Subscribers events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
