Moosend is a platform platform. Email Subscribers manages a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Moosend.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Email Subscribers to platform, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Email Subscribers installed and configured.
  • A Moosend account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Moosend to AFI

Moosend uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Moosend, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Email Subscribers to Moosend.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Email Subscribers as the form provider. AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription, giving you access to subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status.

3. Select Moosend as the destination

Choose Moosend from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Moosend.

4. Map fields

Match each Moosend field on the left to the corresponding Email Subscribers field on the right. Common mappings include subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Email Subscribers. Check Moosend to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Moosend with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Email Subscribers events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
