How to Send FluentCRM Data to Zoho Desk
Zoho Desk is a helpdesk platform. FluentCRM manages a contact submits a form or a tag is applied, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zoho Desk.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-contact fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCRM installed and configured.
- A Zoho Desk account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Zoho Desk to AFI
Zoho Desk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Desk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCRM to Zoho Desk.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCRM as the form provider. AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied, giving you access to contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values.
3. Select Zoho Desk as the destination
Choose Zoho Desk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Ticket. This creates a ticket in Zoho Desk.
4. Map fields
Match each Zoho Desk field on the left to the corresponding FluentCRM field on the right. Common mappings include contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in FluentCRM. Check Zoho Desk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps subject, description, email, and name to Zoho Desk with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and department selection. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCRM events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
