How to Send MailPoet Data to Mailshake

Mailshake is a email outreach platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want MailPoet subscriber synced to Mailshake, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

Connect Mailshake to AFI

1. Log in to your Mailshake account.
2. Go to Settings → API and generate an API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Mailshake.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it MailPoet to Mailshake.

2. Pick your trigger

Select MailPoet as the form provider. AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or a newsletter form is submitted, giving you access to subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status.

3. Select Mailshake as the destination

Choose Mailshake from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This adds a lead to a Mailshake campaign.

4. Map fields

Match each Mailshake field on the left to the corresponding MailPoet field on the right. Common mappings include subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in MailPoet. Check Mailshake to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
