Freshsales is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every WP User Frontend submission record should flow into Freshsales automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers submission data straight from WordPress to Freshsales. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with WP User Frontend installed and configured.
  • A Freshsales account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Freshsales to AFI

  1. Log in to your Freshsales account.
  2. Copy your Subdomain and API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Freshsales.
  4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WP User Frontend to Freshsales.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WP User Frontend as the form provider. AFI fires when a post is submitted or a form is completed, giving you access to author name, email, post title, post content, and custom field values.

3. Select Freshsales as the destination

Choose Freshsales from the platform dropdown and pick Create Lead. This creates a lead in Freshsales.

4. Map fields

Match each Freshsales field on the left to the corresponding WP User Frontend field on the right. Common mappings include author name, email, post title, post content, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in WP User Frontend. Check Freshsales to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, and phone to Freshsales with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which WP User Frontend events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a post is submitted or a form is completed. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
