How to Send WP User Frontend Data to DocuSign

Connect DocuSign to AFI

DocuSign uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → DocuSign, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WP User Frontend to DocuSign.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WP User Frontend as the form provider. AFI fires when a post is submitted or a form is completed, giving you access to author name, email, post title, post content, and custom field values.

3. Select DocuSign as the destination

Choose DocuSign from the platform dropdown and pick Send Envelope. This creates and sends an envelope in DocuSign.

4. Map fields

Match each DocuSign field on the left to the corresponding WP User Frontend field on the right. Common mappings include author name, email, post title, post content, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in WP User Frontend. Check DocuSign to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
