How to Send RegistrationMagic Data to Zapier
Zapier is a automation platform. Every RegistrationMagic registration record should flow into Zapier automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to automation. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with RegistrationMagic installed and configured.
- A Zapier account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Zapier to AFI
Zapier uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zapier, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it RegistrationMagic to Zapier.
2. Pick your trigger
Select RegistrationMagic as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form, giving you access to user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID.
3. Select Zapier as the destination
Choose Zapier from the platform dropdown and pick Send Webhook. This triggers a Zapier webhook.
4. Map fields
Match each Zapier field on the left to the corresponding RegistrationMagic field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in RegistrationMagic. Check Zapier to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps any JSON payload to Zapier with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which RegistrationMagic events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
