How to Send RegistrationMagic Data to Instantly
Instantly is a cold email platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. RegistrationMagic manages a user registers or submits a form, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Instantly.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting RegistrationMagic to cold email, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with RegistrationMagic installed and configured.
- A Instantly account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Instantly to AFI
- Log in to your Instantly account.
- Copy your API Key from settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Instantly.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it RegistrationMagic to Instantly.
2. Pick your trigger
Select RegistrationMagic as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form, giving you access to user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID.
3. Select Instantly as the destination
Choose Instantly from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This adds a lead to Instantly.
4. Map fields
Match each Instantly field on the left to the corresponding RegistrationMagic field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in RegistrationMagic. Check Instantly to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Instantly with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and campaign selection. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which RegistrationMagic events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
