Follow Up Boss is a real estate CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. RegistrationMagic manages a user registers or submits a form, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Follow Up Boss.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting RegistrationMagic to real estate CRM, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with RegistrationMagic installed and configured.
  • A Follow Up Boss account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Follow Up Boss to AFI

  1. Log in to your Follow Up Boss account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Follow Up Boss.
  4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it RegistrationMagic to Follow Up Boss.

2. Pick your trigger

Select RegistrationMagic as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form, giving you access to user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID.

3. Select Follow Up Boss as the destination

Choose Follow Up Boss from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Follow Up Boss.

4. Map fields

Match each Follow Up Boss field on the left to the corresponding RegistrationMagic field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in RegistrationMagic. Check Follow Up Boss to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, and phone to Follow Up Boss with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which RegistrationMagic events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
