How to Send weForms Data to Zapier

Zapier is a automation platform. weForms manages a form is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zapier.

Connect Zapier to AFI

Zapier uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zapier, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Zapier.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Zapier as the destination

Choose Zapier from the platform dropdown and pick Send Webhook. This triggers a Zapier webhook.

4. Map fields

Match each Zapier field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Zapier to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
