How to Send weForms Data to SmartrMail
SmartrMail is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. weForms handles a form is submitted on your WordPress site. SmartrMail is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

What you will need
- A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
- A SmartrMail account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect SmartrMail to AFI
- Log in to your SmartrMail account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SmartrMail.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to SmartrMail.
2. Pick your trigger
Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.
3. Select SmartrMail as the destination
Choose SmartrMail from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to SmartrMail.
4. Map fields
Match each SmartrMail field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check SmartrMail to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
