How to Send weForms Data to SlickText

SlickText is a SMS marketing platform. weForms manages a form is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to SlickText.

What you will need

Connect SlickText to AFI

1. Log in to your SlickText account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SlickText.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to SlickText.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select SlickText as the destination

Choose SlickText from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This opts in a contact to a SlickText textword list.

4. Map fields

Match each SlickText field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check SlickText to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
