How to Send weForms Data to DrChrono

DrChrono is a healthcare platform. Here is how to pipe weForms submission straight into DrChrono using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Connect DrChrono to AFI

DrChrono uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → DrChrono, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to DrChrono.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select DrChrono as the destination

Choose DrChrono from the platform dropdown and pick Create Patient. This creates a patient in DrChrono.

4. Map fields

Match each DrChrono field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check DrChrono to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
