How to Send Restrict Content Pro Data to Zendesk
Zendesk is a helpdesk platform. Restrict Content Pro manages a member signs up or a payment completes, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zendesk.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Restrict Content Pro to helpdesk, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Restrict Content Pro installed and configured.
- A Zendesk account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Zendesk to AFI
Zendesk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zendesk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Restrict Content Pro to Zendesk.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Restrict Content Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member signs up or a payment completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status.
3. Select Zendesk as the destination
Choose Zendesk from the platform dropdown and pick Create Ticket. This creates a ticket in Zendesk.
4. Map fields
Match each Zendesk field on the left to the corresponding Restrict Content Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Restrict Content Pro. Check Zendesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps subject, description, and email to Zendesk with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Restrict Content Pro events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
