Google Tasks is a task management platform. Here is how to pipe Restrict Content Pro membership straight into Google Tasks using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

The direct approach

AFI delivers membership data straight from WordPress to Google Tasks. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Restrict Content Pro installed and configured.
  • A Google Tasks account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Google Tasks to AFI

Google Tasks uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Google Tasks, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Restrict Content Pro to Google Tasks.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Restrict Content Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member signs up or a payment completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status.

3. Select Google Tasks as the destination

Choose Google Tasks from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Google Tasks.

4. Map fields

Match each Google Tasks field on the left to the corresponding Restrict Content Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Restrict Content Pro. Check Google Tasks to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps title and notes to Google Tasks with unlimited records. Pro adds task list selection. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which Restrict Content Pro events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a member signs up or a payment completes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
