How to Send WP Event Manager Data to Robly
Robly is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Here is how to pipe WP Event Manager event straight into Robly using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to email marketing. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with WP Event Manager installed and configured.
- A Robly account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Robly to AFI
Robly uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Robly, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WP Event Manager to Robly.
2. Pick your trigger
Select WP Event Manager as the form provider. AFI fires when an event is submitted or a registration is received, giving you access to organizer name, email, event title, event date, venue, and ticket type.
3. Select Robly as the destination
Choose Robly from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Robly.
4. Map fields
Match each Robly field on the left to the corresponding WP Event Manager field on the right. Common mappings include organizer name, email, event title, event date, venue, and ticket type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in WP Event Manager. Check Robly to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Robly with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which WP Event Manager events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an event is submitted or a registration is received. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
