How to Send Charitable Data to Woodpecker

Woodpecker is a platform platform. Here is how to pipe Charitable donation straight into Woodpecker using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Connect Woodpecker to AFI

Woodpecker uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Woodpecker, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Charitable to Woodpecker.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Charitable as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made through a fundraising campaign, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway.

3. Select Woodpecker as the destination

Choose Woodpecker from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Woodpecker.

4. Map fields

Match each Woodpecker field on the left to the corresponding Charitable field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Charitable. Check Woodpecker to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
