Connect Capsule CRM to AFI

Capsule CRM uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Capsule CRM, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Charitable to Capsule CRM.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Charitable as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made through a fundraising campaign, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway.

3. Select Capsule CRM as the destination

Choose Capsule CRM from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates a person in Capsule CRM.

4. Map fields

Match each Capsule CRM field on the left to the corresponding Charitable field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Charitable. Check Capsule CRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
