How to Send WP Job Manager Data to Mailgun
Mailgun is a email delivery platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want WP Job Manager job synced to Mailgun, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-job fees, no external dependencies.

- A Mailgun account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Mailgun to AFI
- Log in to your Mailgun account.

- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Mailgun.
- Enter your domain and API Key, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WP Job Manager to Mailgun.
2. Pick your trigger
Select WP Job Manager as the form provider. AFI fires when a job listing is submitted, giving you access to company name, job title, email, location, job type, and application URL.
3. Select Mailgun as the destination
Choose Mailgun from the platform dropdown and pick Add Mailing List Member. This adds a member to a Mailgun mailing list.
4. Map fields
Match each Mailgun field on the left to the corresponding WP Job Manager field on the right. Common mappings include company name, job title, email, location, job type, and application URL. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in WP Job Manager. Check Mailgun to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Mailgun with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
