How to Send WP Job Manager Data to Eventbrite
Eventbrite is a event management platform. Every WP Job Manager job record should flow into Eventbrite automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to event management. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with WP Job Manager installed and configured.
- A Eventbrite account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Eventbrite to AFI
Eventbrite uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Eventbrite, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WP Job Manager to Eventbrite.
2. Pick your trigger
Select WP Job Manager as the form provider. AFI fires when a job listing is submitted, giving you access to company name, job title, email, location, job type, and application URL.
3. Select Eventbrite as the destination
Choose Eventbrite from the platform dropdown and pick Create Event. This creates an event in Eventbrite.
4. Map fields
Match each Eventbrite field on the left to the corresponding WP Job Manager field on the right. Common mappings include company name, job title, email, location, job type, and application URL. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in WP Job Manager. Check Eventbrite to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps title, description, and date to Eventbrite with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which WP Job Manager events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a job listing is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
