How to Send MemberPress Data to Mailcoach
Mailcoach is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every MemberPress membership record should flow into Mailcoach automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers membership data straight from WordPress to Mailcoach. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with MemberPress installed and configured.
- A Mailcoach account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Mailcoach to AFI
- Log in to your Mailcoach account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Mailcoach.
- Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it MemberPress to Mailcoach.
2. Pick your trigger
Select MemberPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status.
3. Select Mailcoach as the destination
Choose Mailcoach from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to a Mailcoach list.
4. Map fields
Match each Mailcoach field on the left to the corresponding MemberPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in MemberPress. Check Mailcoach to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Mailcoach with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which MemberPress events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
