Attio is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. MemberPress manages a member registers or a subscription transaction completes, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Attio.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-membership fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with MemberPress installed and configured.
  • A Attio account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Attio to AFI

Attio uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Attio, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it MemberPress to Attio.

2. Pick your trigger

Select MemberPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status.

3. Select Attio as the destination

Choose Attio from the platform dropdown and pick Create Record. This creates a record in Attio.

4. Map fields

Match each Attio field on the left to the corresponding MemberPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in MemberPress. Check Attio to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email and name to Attio with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which MemberPress events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
