How to Send GiveWP Data to Salesloft

Salesloft is a sales engagement platform. Every GiveWP donation record should flow into Salesloft automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with GiveWP installed and configured.
• A Salesloft account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Salesloft to AFI

1. Log in to your Salesloft account.
2. Go to Settings → API and generate an API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Salesloft.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it GiveWP to Salesloft.

2. Pick your trigger

Select GiveWP as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method.

3. Select Salesloft as the destination

Choose Salesloft from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates a person in Salesloft.

4. Map fields

Match each Salesloft field on the left to the corresponding GiveWP field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in GiveWP. Check Salesloft to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
