How to Send GiveWP Data to Freshsales

Freshsales is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every GiveWP donation record should flow into Freshsales automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

Connect Freshsales to AFI

1. Log in to your Freshsales account.
2. Copy your Subdomain and API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Freshsales.
4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it GiveWP to Freshsales.

2. Pick your trigger

Select GiveWP as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method.

3. Select Freshsales as the destination

Choose Freshsales from the platform dropdown and pick Create Lead. This creates a lead in Freshsales.

4. Map fields

Match each Freshsales field on the left to the corresponding GiveWP field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in GiveWP. Check Freshsales to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
