How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Smartlead

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.
• A Smartlead account.

Connect Smartlead to AFI

1. Log in to your Smartlead account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Smartlead.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Smartlead.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Smartlead as the destination

Choose Smartlead from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This adds a lead to a Smartlead campaign.

4. Map fields

Match each Smartlead field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Smartlead to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
