How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Planhat

Planhat is a customer success platform. Every Fluent Affiliate an affiliate registers or a referral is generated should flow into Planhat automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.
• A Planhat account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Planhat to AFI

1. Log in to your Planhat account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Planhat.
4. Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Planhat.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Planhat as the destination

Choose Planhat from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Planhat.

4. Map fields

Match each Planhat field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Planhat to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
